Monthly Networking Meetings
The Sussex-Warren Chapter holds monthly chapter meetings in January through July and September through December. NJAWBO members may attend other NJAWBO Chapter meetings throughout the state at member rates, providing expanded networking opportunities. Breakfast Meetings
The Sussex-Warren Chapter holds a breakfast meeting every month. The breakfast meetings are BYOB and there is no fee. Reservations are not required. Please visit our Breakfast Meetings page for specific dates and topics.
Chapter E-Newsletter
We want to increase your opportunities to promote yourself and your business. So start sending us your news. We’re looking for business announcements, achievements, milestones, or promotional items that we can compile into a short & sweet e-newsletter. You can provide business tips or advice, give a timely short & sweet business book review, and the like. Send your submissions to our Chapter President at ChapterInfo@njawbosw.org
Committees
Committees work can be quite rewarding and helps to strengthen the organization. By working on a committee or special project you will have an opportunity to expand your network, develop strong ties with members, become more visible within the organization and have an opportunity to hone various skills. This is an excellent way to “get your feet wet” by learning more about various Chapter activities without making a full time commitment. It can also be, in many cases, an excellent way to showcase your talents and abilities.
Speaking Opportunities
Come to our meetings and join other business owners to share experience and expertise. We’d love to hear from you! If you would like to facilitate one of our breakfast meetings let us know. If you have a topic of interest to other women business owners then let us know. The breakfast meeting presentations are typically 15-20 minutes with time for discussion following. They have each been informative and useful in the past. I’m sure you have a wealth of information you could share. Please consider facilitating a breakfast meeting. Prize Sponsor Program
Traditionally, our chapter has a door prize drawing at the end of the evening. The chapter executive board decided to offer this presentation moment to any business owner who wants to sponsor the door prize. Learn about this unique way to promote your business.
Chambers of Commerce
Our chapter is a member of the Sussex Chamber of Commerce. We are able to send members to their meetings each month. The number of participants varies so see our. If you are interested in attending, contact our Chapter President (See Chapter Board for contact information).
